London: Tom Hanks has been voicing Woody in the 'Toy Story' franchise for more than two decades, but he says he's far from similar.

"It's hard to be Woody 24 hours a day. My family treats me like a knot head. So believe me, I'm not the leader of the room like Woody is," Hanks said at the fourth installment's London premiere on June 16.

The actor had been recording lines for the beloved character on and off for three years but the last day of work came as a bit of a shock.

"We show up at these sessions about once every six months or eight months and they go on for a few hours. And I didn't realize I had finished, but I've turned over the card. I said the last line on the microphone and they said 'OK that's it. Thanks.' And I said, 'Really? That's it?' My lip began to quiver a little bit. And I said, 'Oh my, oh my.'"

The animated film also stars Tim Allen, Annie Potts, Christina Hendricks, Keanu Reeves, Tony Hale, Joan Cusack, Jordan Peele, Keegan-Michael Key and Patricia Arquette.

'Toy Story 4' is out in theaters on June 21.
