New Delhi: Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has his lent voice for the Hindi version of 'The Lion King' for the character of Mufasa. He shared a new teaser of the film where he can be heard as Mufasa.
Sharing the teaser on his Twitter, Shah Rukh wrote, "Delighted to be a part of this global legacy. In Cinemas 19th July. Yaad Rakhna."
The teaser begins with Mufasa assuring Simba that he will always be with him. He is also seen teaching Simba how to be a true king.
The one-minute-fourteen-second teaser appears to be a shot-by-shot remake of the 1994 animated film.
Apart from SRK, the superstar's son Aryan Khan will dub for Simba, Ashish Vidyarthi will be voicing Scar's character, Shreyas Talpade will dub for Timon, Sanjay Mishra will voice Pumbaa and actor Govardhan Asrani will dub for Zazu.
The animated classic's trailer features our favourite characters in new avatars while keeping the essence of the classic alive.
Helmed by Jon Favreau, the screenplay of 'The Lion King' is written by Jeff Nathanson. The movie will hit the screens on July 19 in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
