The Birthday Cake premiere: Clara McGregor walks red carpet shortly after dog attack

Actor Ewan McGregor's daughter Clara attended the premiere of her upcoming film The Birthday Cake with visible facial scars from the dog attack.

Los Angeles: Clara McGregor walked the red carpet in Las Vegas on June 13 shortly after being attacked by a dog. Following a trip to the hospital for treatment on her facial injuries, the actor, who is the daughter of Ewan McGregor, attended the premiere of The Birthday Cake.

The 25-year-old had visible scars from the attack as she attended the event, which took place at The Mob Museum, the National Museum of Organized Crime and Law Enforcement. After the screening, she took to Instagram, writing "When a dog bite lands you in the ER 30 mins before the red carpet" next to a photograph of her wearing a Fendi suit.

Co-produced by McGregor, who also has a small role in the movie, The Birthday Cake follows Giovanni (Shiloh Fernandez) - a young man whose life changes on the 10th anniversary of his father's death when he reluctantly accepts the task of bringing a cake to the home of his uncle, a mob boss.

The film, which also stars Val Kilmer and Lorraine Bracco, is released in the U.S. on June 18, 2021.
