California: Actor Joaquin Phoenix, who won the Golden Globes Award for one of his best performance in a motion picture, said that he needed a lot more inspiration to be back at working on Joker.
Addressing the press at an international level award ceremony, Phoenix said: "Don't bet on a Joker sequel for Joaquin Phoenix anytime soon."
The 45-year-old actor bagged the prestigious award on Sunday for his performance in Todd Phillips' blockbuster.
Following his win, the actor interacted with the media outlets backstage. But the Dominion star seemed annoyed when he was asked about his work in the film.
"Isn't this old news?" Phoenix asked. "I thought I had been talking about this for six months. Right?"
