London: John Wick is back, and back in the thick of it. Keanu Reeves reprises the role of the action hero - and attended a special screening in London to promote the third chapter on May 3.

Reeves summarized the antics of the latest installment, without giving too much away.

"So Chapter Three starts just after Chapter Two, John is running for his life. He's got an hour. Winston the manager of the New York City Continental has made him excommunicado. And there's an open contract by the high table, I killed off high table member and Chapter 2 on Continental grounds, breaking the rules, so the rules have consequences and it's John Wick trying to find a way out. Trying to find a way to survive," he said.

Also attending the screening was director Chad Stahelski, who said he thinks it is the combination of Reeves and the character of John Wick that makes the movies successful.

"I mean one word, Keanu, he is a likeable guy. He's created a character he brings something to it that that I think most of the action genre is missing. You know that that accessible slightly fractured character you know that that you feel empathy for. At the same time you think and kick a little ass," he said.

Reeves also teased some of the action in the movie.

"I really enjoy movie fighting and all of the action that's involved," he smiled. "We've got to do some a little bit of horse riding and a gunfight on a horse and a sword fight on motorcycles. It's John Wick, it's crazy but yeah it's it's really fun."

'John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum' also stars Halle Berry, Laurence Fishburne, Anjelica Huston and Ian McShane, and is released in the U.K on May 15.
