Katy Perry collapsed in American Idol sets!

Pop icon Katy Perry recently collapsed on the sets of a reality TV show American Idol. The gas leak created chaos among the crew and contestants.

Washington: American singer Katy Perry fell on the ground after a gas leaked on the sets of the much popular show titled American Idol. Post the incident, the auditions were put on hold.

In an exclusive clip of Sunday's episode, judges Katy Perry, Luke Bryan and Lionel Richie was forced to pause the auditions due to a propane leak that could potentially be dangerous, reported a leading news portal.

Sensing a strong propane smell, the singer mentioned in the clip: "Do you guys smell gas? It's pretty intense."

"I have a slight headache from it. Oh it's bad, it's really bad," Katy said as she stood up to leave the studio.

As chaos flared up amongst the crew and the contestants, sirens were heard in the background and a handful of firefighters showed up to check on the situation.

The Firework singer, who fell on the ground, later complained that she wasn't feeling good at that moment.

In other news, the singer-cum-songwriter extended gratitude to Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar for a "warm welcome" and a grand party that he hosted at his residence in Mumbai.

Her recent trip to India came after a long gap of seven years.

Meanwhile, Katy Perry and British singer Dua Lipa pulled off an amazing concert making the audience groove to their beats. The duo delivered a power-packed performance at the D Y Patil Stadium in Mumbai.
