Mumbai: Singing sensation Zubeen Garg on Friday collapsed on the ground amid performing at a concert in Guwahati.
According to news reports, the singer fell ill and lost his consciousness while he was attending a special function in Guwahati Town Club. He was immediately rushed to the hospital.
Doctors have declared that he is stable now, although he will be kept under observation in ICU for the next 24 hours.

Interacting with a media outlet, Assam CM said: "Zubeen’s situation is stable now. Dr. Hitesh informed me that Zubeen’s condition is improving. I hope and pray for Zubeen’s speedy recovery."
He further tweeted: "Visited Nemcare Hospital in Guwahati to enquire about the health condition of cultural icon Zubeen Garg. Glad to learn that his condition is stable. Wishing for his speedy recovery."
A video from the incident which occurred on Friday has also surfaced the internet. In the video, a group of people is seen surrounding Zubeen Garg and trying to hold him as he losses his consciousness.
