Hyderabad: Kannada superstar Yash, who rose to pan-India fame with KGF is now looking forward to the second chapter of the upcoming Kannada action-drama KGF: Chapter 2. The actor has revealed that the team shot for the film under gruelling weather conditions and it was a task for the production team to retain the numbers of junior artists on the set as they used to run away after shooting for a day or two.
Yash in his latest interview with a webloid has spoken about the overwhelming response to KGF: Chapter 2 teaser and what makes it magical and how the team shot the film under not so shooting friendly environment.
Talking about the tough shooting process, Yash said that the whole team struggled a lot to shoot in the real gold mines and as the changing seasons would take a toll on the set, the determined art director Shivakumar J. had to rebuild the destroyed set multiple times without shoot being hampered.
Yash said when the crew of 2000 people is working anything can happen and to face the unpleasant aspect of life the makers had got everyone on the set covered by insurance. But it was the soaring temperature that was a challenge for the team while shooting in mines as extras would flee from the set experiencing the reality behind the gloss and glamour of the cinema.
