Mumbai: Bollywood star Arjun Kapoor, son of producer Boney Kapoor, says that his father's films influenced him a lot before he ventured into acting.

Arjun was interacting with the media at the sidelines of the 10th edition of Jagran film festival held in Mumbai on Saturday.

When asked which films inspired him as an actor, the Gunday actor said that he was a film-buff as a teenager. After watching Hollywood film Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Arjun decided to become a director rather than an actor.

"My father's films have had a big influence on me. When you are born at Anil Kapoor and Boney Kapoor's house, you've seen certain kind of cinema. Mr India was made in my house. I've seen it multiple times, like many people across the nation. Such films inspires a lot," said the actor.
