The makers of Vidya Balan starrer Shakuntala Devi have released a new track titled Paheli. The song throws light on the Math wizard Shakuntala's relationship with her daughter Anupama Banerji, played by Sanya Malhotra.

Mumbai:The team of Vidya Balan starrer Shakuntala Devi have released a new song titled Paheli from the upcoming biopic. The song portrays a sweet and sour relationship between Shakuntala and her daughter Anupama Banerji, played by Vidya Balan and Sanya Malhotra, respectively.

The song shows Shakuntala promising her husband Paritosh Banerji (Jisshu Sengupta) that she will be the best mother ever. We then see her tirelessly working to make it a beautiful home for her daughter.

Vidya shared the video of the song on Instagram and wrote, "Solving the #Paheli of this beautiful yet complicated relationship is not so easy! Here's a beautiful song instead. Meet #ShakuntalaDeviOnPrime July 31, on @primevideoin (sic)."

Paheli is sung by Shreya Ghoshal and composed by duo Sachin-Jigar.

Directed by Anu Menon, Shakuntala Devi also stars Amit Sadh in a pivotal role.
