Hyderabad: Days after announcing son Avyaan's birth, Dia Mirza is seen having a blast with stepdaughter Samaira Rekhi. The new mommy has shared a video on Instagram where the two are seen donning matching outfits as they dance their heart out on Iko Iko (My Bestie), by Justin Wellington.
On Sunday, Dia took to Instagram to share a video featuring herself and 'bestie' Samaira. Sharing the dance video, Dia wrote, "Sunday Shenanigans with #MyBestie 😍😜😅 #SundayFunday." Dia's video with Samaira is garnering love from celebrities like Bipasha Basu, Soni Razdan, Diana Penty and many others who have flooded her comment section with heart emoticons and kind words.

On July 14, Dia and her husband Vaibhav Rekhi announced the birth of their son Avyaan Azaad Rekhi. Dia shared the news with fans on Instagram with a long, emotional note. The actor posted a picture holding her son's hand. She informed her son was a premature baby born on May 14, due to complications in her pregnancy. The baby is in Neonatal ICU since birth. She said the family was waiting for the baby to come home, especially Samaira, who is Vaibhav's daughter from his first marriage with Sunaina Rekhi, a yoga artist.
Dia and Vaibhav had tied the knot in February 2021 in an intimate wedding ceremony. The actor announced her pregnancy in April. This is Dia's second marriage. She was earlier married to Sahil Sangha, who was also her business partner.
