Mumbai: Actor Vicky Kaushal took his fans by surprise as he announced a chance for his admirers to have a virtual hangout with him.
The effort comes in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic as the Raazi actor has collaborated with Fankind to raise funds for the daily wage workers. He also invited his fans to donate for the social cause.
Hopping on to Instagram, Vicky explained the entire process via a video.
"Hi guys! How does a virtual hang out with me for a super fun games night sound to you? Fankind and I have come together to make this happen. All you got to do is go on Fankind.org/vicky and donate," Vicky said.
"Your donations are gonna help Give India provide ration kits for our daily wage workers. Our daily wage workers are going through a lot of stress. They are not just battling with COVID -19, they are also battling survival. These ration kits will be consisting of atta, rice, dal, masala, tea, sugar, salt, etc. Even a little contribution from your end can make a big difference to their lives," he added.

"As a special thank you, three of you will get to virtually hang out with me for a super fun games night. And I'm really excited to meet you really close," exclaimed the Manmarziyaan actor.
Sharing the video, Vicky further added: "To make your impact even bigger, A.T.E Chandra foundation will be adding 25% of the total donations we raise as a matching amount, thereby multiplying your impact. Let's do our bit and help each other in this hour of need."
Currently, the actor is spending his lockdown days at home with his family.
