Mumbai: Bollywood director Vikas Bahl who was accused of sexual misconduct has recently been exonerated of the charges. After the accusation was made public by a former employee of the Phantom Films, the production company went into dissolution.

Phantom Films was a joint venture of Vikas Bahl, Vikramaditya Motwane, Anurag Kashyap and Madhu Mantena.

The infamous incident came to limelight when the #Metoo movement was at its peak. Vikas became the butt of criticism. Eventually, charges against the director were filed.

It was also reported that Vikas would not be credited as the director of 'Super 30'. If a news report is to be believed, Reliance Entertainment, which held a 50% stake in Phantom Films, held an internal inquiry that had cleared Vikas of all charges and given him a clean chit.

The clean chit will enable Vikas to be reinstated as the director of Super 30. The trailer of the film, starring Hrithik Roshan, will release next week. It is reported that Vikas will be given his due credit at the end of the trailer.
