Hyderabad: Tamil superstar Vijay Sethupathi is rumoured to be being roped in for the third season of much successful web series The Family Man. Vijay is currently working with the creators of The Family Man Raj and DK for an upcoming web show which will also mark Shahid Kapoor's digital debut. The actor has reacted to reports of him co-starring with Manoj Bajpayee in the third season of The Family Man.
The second season of their 2019 espionage action thriller series premiered on June 4. Manoj Bajpayee returned in the starring role of NIA agent Srikant Tiwari, along with Priyamani, Sharib Hashmi, Sharad Kelkar, Sunny Hinduja and Shreya Dhanwanthary in pivotal roles. After the humungous success of seasons 1 and 2, fans of The Family Man show are demanding season 3 of the show and are also pitching ideas for who should be included in the cast for the upcoming season.

After makers bringing in South actor Samantha as the antagonist in season 2, one of the names which is doing rounds of social media for The Family Man 3 is that of versatile actor Vijay. When asked about his casting in The Family Man 3, Vijay told a webloid, "I am only doing Raj and DK’s web series with Shahid Kapoor. I haven’t been offered any series or film with Manoj Bajpayee though I’d love to work with him."
Meanwhile, Vijay has multiple projects at various levels of production. Sethupathi's lineup of films includes National Award-winning filmmaker Vetri Maaran's new film Viduthalai, Lokesh Kanagaraj's Vikram wherein he will be seen sharing screen space with Kamal Haasan and Fahadh Faasil.
Sethupathi will soon be seen in a silent Bollywood film titled Gandhi Talks. The film is written, directed and produced by Kishor Pandurang Belekar, while Divay Dhamijain is on board as creative producer. He also has Santosh Sivan's upcoming film Mumbaikar in his kitty.
