Mumbai: Shahid Kapoor starrer 'Kabir Singh' has hypnotized the youth of nation but Vijay Deverakonda who starred in the original film will not watch the film and he has a valid reason for doing so.
Vijay, who is busy promoting his upcoming film 'Dear Comrade' recently said that he will not watch the recent blockbuster since he has done the original film and he knows what the story is so why would he watch it?
"Shahid has done that film, and he has gone through the character, and there is nothing for me to watch it again. I know the story, I have done that film, why will I watch again?" said Vijay.

Talking about the reception that 'Kabir Singh' has received Vijay said that he wanted the film to be successful for the director Sandeep Reddy Vanga who also directed him in the original film.
"I wanted the Hindi film to be a big hit because Sandeep is my man. But unexpectedly, it became a blockbuster. Done. No more discussion there," quipped Deverakonda whose career took a huge leap after 'Arjun Reddy'.
Meanwhile, 'Kabir Singh' shows no signs of slowing down at the box office. After pipping 'Uri' and 'Bharat' to become the biggest Bollywood hit of the year so far, the film has now romped past the Rs 250-crore mark in the domestic market.
