Hyderabad: Telugu star Vijay Devarkonda has begun filming for his next project 'Hero' in which he will be seen alongside actress Malvika Mohan.

The movie is helmed by Anand Annamalai who also penned the dialogues for the critically acclaimed Tamil super-hit 'Kaaka Muttai'.
'Hero' also marks Vijay's second collaboration with Mythri Movie Makers after 'Dear Comrade' is yet to release.
Also, the makers are planning to release the film in Telugu, Tamil and Kannada targeting a wider market.
Notably, the 'Arjun Reddy' actor is also prepping for Kranthi Madhav’s yet-to-be-titled project. Also, there are reports that Vijay is also producing a film featuring filmmaker Tharun Bhascker Dhaassyam in the lead role.
Meanwhile, Vijay will be seen opposite her 'Geetha Govindam' co-star Rashmika Mandanna in his upcoming film 'Dear Comrade'. The movie is in its last leg of shooting.
The teaser is already out and making fans crazy as they can't wait to see the hit pair rekindle their onscreen magic yet again.
Helmed by Bharat Kamma, 'Dear Comrade' is set to release on July 26.
