Varun Dhawan shuts troll with epic reply

Varun Dhawan gave a befitting reply to a troll who criticized the actor for doing masala movies.

Mumbai: Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan surely knows how to deal with the trolls, always on toes to slam a celebrity for no good reason.

It all started with Varun praising Dwayne Johnson's latest release 'Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw'.

Taking to his Twitter handle, Varun wrote, "Watched #HobbsAndShaw. It's great fun in the cinema. @TheRock really brings its... Loved the homage paid to the Samoan culture. The London chase sequence has to be the best."

Soon after his tweet, a troll commented, "Instead of promoting #Hollywood movies and giving Americans money, please raise our movie quality instead of masala movies that you do. Make some content driven films. Also, promote good Bollywood movies which remain unnotified. Make India proud."

The Twitter user also tagged Karan Johar in the post.

However, Varun shut down the troll with the best reply, he wrote, "Maybe you should not have Harry Potter as your profile picture when you try to teach people what to do son. Now go to bed."

Meanwhile, Hollywood star and wrestler Dwayne John was pleased to know that Varun liked his film. He called Varun "The Best".

"Mahalo brother and glad you loved it. You're the best," The Rock tweeted.

On the work front, Varun is yet to begin shooting for the remake of 'Coolie No. 1' alongside Sara Ali Khan.

Meanwhile, the 'Kalank' actor has wrapped up shooting for Remo D'Souza's 'Street Dancer 3D' starring Shraddha Kapoor.
