Chopra, 46, who is the son of legendary filmmaker Yash Chopra has been missing from the limelight for a while now. The last time he made headlines was for his maiden international co-production 'Grace of Monaco' which starred Nicole Kidman in lead role. Besides that, the 'Dhoom' actor was also in news for his break-up with American model-turned-actress Nargis Fakhri.

Post parting ways from Nargis, the loveless life has apparently taken a bit of toll on Uday who wants love and passion back in life.

Last year, Uday took to social media to share love is what he needs in life: "I wish I could love with the same intensity I used to love a few years ago. There was this girl and I felt alive just loving her. I’ve lost that now. I just want that passion back. Maybe that’s all I need", read his tweet.

According to a leading daily report, the actor took to his Twitter account last night to confess about his unhappiness. However, he deleted the tweet later.

His tweet read, "Confession: I am not ok! I am trying but so far I’m failing." He also posted a tweet about how deactivating from social media is a good option for suicide. He wrote, "For a few hours, I De-activated my twitter account. It felt as close to death as I could get. Was phenomenal! I think this is a good option for suicide. I might be doing it permanently soon."

Uday's cryptic tweet raised concerns among netizens. The fans of the actor have been sending him best wishes and “get well soon” messages.

On the work front, Uday was last seen in Vijay Krishna Acharya's 'Dhoom 3' in 2013. The movie starred Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif, Abhishek Bachchan, Siddharth Nigam and Jackie Shroff in pivotal roles.
