Mumbai: Television actor Kushal Punjabi, who was last seen in Ishq Mein Marjaawan, breathed his last at the age of 42.
Though the cause of his death is yet to be revealed, the actor's untimely death has left the telly world in a state of shock.
One of the most popular actor on television Karanvir Bohra broke the news of his demise on social media.
Deeply shocked over the incident, Karan wrote on Twitter: "Ur demise has shocked the hell out of me. I'm still in denial @PunjabiKushal I know you are in a happier place, but this is unfathomable."
"You really inspired me with the way you saw life, but what was I to know. I will always remember u as a #dancingdaddy #fit & a #lifeenthusiast," he added.
Sharing a string of pictures on Instagram, he wrote: "Your zest for dancing, fitness, off-road biking, fatherhood and above all that, that smiling face of yours, your happy-go-lucky nature your warmth all that was such ingenuity. I'm gonna miss you so much #kushlani. Extremely saddened by his untimely death, TV stars including Vikas Kalantri and Chhavi Hussein penned a heart-wrenching note on social media.
Kushal came to limelight after winning the reality show Zor Ka Jhatka. He also appeared in several television shows and reality TV series such as Aasman Se Aage, Fear Factor, Mr. & Miss TV, Paisa Bhari Padega, Nautica Navigators Challenge, Ek Se Badhkar Ek, Zor Ka Jhatka and Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa among others.
Apart from his stint in television, he had also worked in movies including Farhan Akhtar’s Lakshya, Karan Johar’s Kaal and Vivek Agnihotri's Dhan Dhana Dhan Goal.
