The teaser of 'Section 375' speaks about the misuse of Section 375 of Indian Penal Code (IPC), which is also known as the anti-rape laws.

Mumbai: The team of 'Section 375' has released a teaser of the film on Thursday. The film features Akshaye Khanna and Richa Chadha in pivotal roles.

The trailer starts with a voice-over which says that 'In this nation, at every 20 min a woman gets raped.' Then a voice specifies the rape rate in India which is 1.8, 'It means there is a probability that among 1 lakh women, around 1.8 can face rape in their life.'

The plot of the film focuses on the misuse of Section 375 of Indian Penal Code (IPC), which is also known as the anti-rape laws in India. It states the present scenario of India where the rape accused are led free for some or the other reason.

The courtroom drama helmed by Ajay Bahl is produced by Kumar Mangat Pathak and Abhishek Pathak.

The film will hit the screens on 13 September 2019.
