New Delhi: As the urge for environmental conservation increases with the constant depletion of resources, celebs, who are a role model to many are also making efforts to conserve the resources. Recently, Swara Bhasker took an innovative initiative to lessen the burden on the existing resources.
Swara has cycled-up her late maternal grandmother's sarees into a pant suit, a glimpse of which the actor shared on her Instagram.
The Veere Di Wedding star shared a few pictures of a beautifully designed pant suit by Divya Saini. Swara teamed the pant suit with a grey plunging-neckline top, looking gorgeous.
Highlighting that the fashion industry is one of the major contributors to industrial pollution and suggesting the recycling and upcycling old clothes as a small step to conserve resources, Swara wrote, "As people who work in show biz and the glamour industry, I think its very important to be aware that the fashion industry is one of the major contributors to industrial pollution in this world. With the current climate crisis, I think all of us can do our small bit, to conserve our resources in the personal choices we make.
