Mumbai: Actor Rhea Chakraborty, who happens to be a prime accused in Sushant Singh Rajput's death case, has been summoned by the Central Bureau of Investigation to appear before its probe team on Friday around 10.30 am in order to get a better picture in the "alleged suicide" case.
On Friday morning, the 28-year-old actor reached DRDO guest house where a team of the investigating agency is residing. This is the first time that Rhea is being questioned by the CBI in the Sushant's case.
She left her residence around 10 am to reach the DRDO guest house in suburban Santacruz, said an official.
Earlier, the CBI had summoned two Mumbai Police officers. The investigating officer and a sub-inspector from Bandra Police Station were asked to bring necessary documents linked to the case of the deceased star.
The top priority of the federal investigative agency was to crack down the digital footprints of Rhea and her associates. Since the incident had happened in June, the central agencies feared that all efforts must have been made by the suspects to wipe out any evidence.
