Sushant's death case: Police demand Kangana's physical presence in Mumbai

Recent reports suggest that Mumbai police want Kangana Ranaut's physical presence in Mumbai to record her statement in connection with Sushant Singh Rajput's death case. The actor's team, in response, said that it's not possible for her to travel from Shimla to Mumbai amid the pandemic, moreover, she is ready to answer every bit on mail.

Mumbai: After reports wired that Mumbai police will summon actor Kangana Ranaut to record her statement in connection with late actor Sushant Singh Rajput's death, the cops now demand the actor's physical presence in Mumbai police station, as per reports.

For unversed, Kangana is currently residing in her hometown Shimla. Responding to Mumbai police's bizarre demand, Kangana's team responded saying and it would not be possible for her to travel from Shimla to Mumbai amid the pandemic situation.

Moreover, the team asked police to proceed her all the questions and she is ready to give a detailed statement on all of it through mail.

Earlier, the Queen actor's team had tweeted that she wants to record her statement, but there hasn't been any formal request from the police so far.

According to the police, statements of 39 people, including film critic Rajeev Masand, director-producer Sanjay Leela Bhansali, and filmmaker Aditya Chopra have been recorded in the investigation so far.

The Mumbai Police had recently said the statements of three psychiatrists and one psychotherapist have been recorded in connection with the suicide investigation.

Sushant was found dead in his Mumbai residence on June 14.
