Sushant Singh Rajput did not take any medicine prescribed by doctor

During the investigation, police found out some documents from his home that suggested he was under severe depression and hypertension. But he was not taking any prescribed medicines.

Mumbai: Actor Sushant Singh Rajput's dead body was taken to Cooper Hospital for post-mortem. The preliminary reports have confirmed that the actor committed suicide.

Digging out some documents from the late actor's residence, police found out that he was under severe depression, hypertension and mental stress for the past few months. However, he was not taking any medicines prescribed by the doctor.

When Sushant took the extreme step, two cooks and his creative manager were present at his house. For the purpose of the investigation, police have taken their versions as well.

According to the officials, he was not under any financial burden.

Moments before his death, Sushant had called up rumoured girlfriend Riya Chakraborty and their common friend Mahesh Shetty. However, they didn't respond.

According to sources, the deceased actor and Riya were having conflicts for a few days.

Police officials are set to question Riya, Mahesh, ex-girlfriend Ankita Lokhande and the people he had contacted in past 24 hours, as a part of the investigation.
