Mumbai:After actor Sushant Singh Rajput's sudden demise, Mumbai Police have been investigating meticulously in the matter. Yash Raj Films' chief Aditya Chopra was reportedly interrogated for over four hours on Saturday where he was accompanied by his two lawyers. If a webloid report is to be believed, sources have alleged that the statements made by Aditya are completely opposite to those made by filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali, who was questioned earlier this month.
Earlier, it was reported that Bhansali in his statement to the Mumbai Police, said that the actor was to be cast in the film Bajirao Mastani but due to his contract with YRF, things could not get into place.
Refuting Bhansali's claims, Aditya told the police that the former had not spoken to YRF to cast Sushant in Bajirao Mastani. He said that when Sushant could film M.S. Dhoni while staying in contract with YRF, then why he could not feature in Bajirao Mastani. Aditya further stated that no one from Bhansali's team contacted YRF regarding his film and their wish to cast Sushant.
