'Super 30': Hrithik meets Bihar Dy CM Sushil Modi

Hrithik Roshan met Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi on Tuesday. The actor thanked him for making his film 'Super 30' tax-free in the state.

Patna: Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan recently thanked senior BJP leader and Bihar Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi for making his film 'Super 30' tax-free in the state.

Taking to his Twitter, the 'Koi Mil Gaya' actor shared pictures from the meeting with the minister alongside the caption, "Sushilji, Aapse milkar mujhe bahut prerna mili. Isi mulakat ke liye dhanyavaad. (Sushilji, got a lot of inspiration after meeting you. Thank you for the meeting)."

Sushil Kumar on Monday announced that 'Super 30' will be tax-free in Bihar. The movie is based on mathematician Anand Kumar hailing from the same state.

Hrithik also met Anand and acknowledged his initiative 'Super 30' to uplift the underprivileged students to crack IIT-JEE exams.

'Super 30' was expected to take a big start since it was the solo Hindi release of the week, and it was Hrithik's first release since 'Kaabil' in January 2017. With a business of ₹ 11 crores, the film had a decent start on its opening day at the box office.

According to trade reports, 'Super 30' has minted over ₹ 64.07 crores so far in the domestic market.
