Mumbai: After Supreme Court on Wednesday directed the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to investigate Sushant Singh Rajput's death case, celebs and the late actor's family members seem hopeful for the literal result.
"SC directs CBI to investigate Sushant Singh Rajput's death. May the truth always prevail #Prayers," tweeted Akshay Kumar soon after the verdict became public.
The Kedarnath starrers' ex-girlfriend Ankita Lokhande took to Twitter and wrote, "Justice is the truth in action 🙏🏻 Truth wins .... #1ststeptossrjustice."
Kangana Ranaut tweeted, "Humanity wins, congratulations to each one of SSR warriors, the first time I felt such a strong force of collective consciousness, AMAZING 👏👏👏#CBITakesOver."

BJP Rajya Sabha MP Subramanian Swamy hailed the Supreme Courts order for a CBI probe into the mysterious suicidal death of Sushant Singh Rajput.
Swamy took to Twitter and wrote: "CBI jay ho".
Actor Sanjana Sanghi who made her Bollywood debut with late actor Sushant Singh Rajput's last film - Dil Bechara - termed the Supreme Court's verdict directing CBI inquiry in Rajput's death case as "judgement of justice" on Wednesday.
"A treacherously painful 2 months later, finally - the judgement of justice. #GlobalPrayers4SSR. TRUTH IS MIGHTY AND Will PREVAIL," she wrote in the story.

The apex court on Wednesday morning ordered a CBI probe into the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput and asked Mumbai Police to hand over all evidence collected so far in the case to CBI.
