SRK to be back in action with Pathan starring Deepika?

Superstar Shah Rukh Khan, who is away from the screen since the release of Zero, is all set to return to sets from November, reports suggest. SRK is all set to commence shooting for his next which is reportedly titled Pathan and stars Deepika Padukone opposite him.

Mumbai: Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has apparently decided to return to what he does the best. King Khan will be ending the year on an active note as he is reportedly all set to return to sets for upcoming film Pathan.

On the day which marks 25 years of his blockbuster hit Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge, the fans have yet another reason to rejoice as the webloids are flooded with the reports of King Khan's comeback with Pathan which also stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in lead roles.

While SRK will commence shoot from November this year, Deepika and John are expected to join the shoot from January 2021. John plays the antagonist in the film.

The film which is billed as tentpole actioner will be helmed by Siddharth Anand. The team will kickstart shooting for Pathan at Yash Raj Films studios in Andheri.

The makers are planning to begin with a two-month schedule in which solely SRK's portions will be canned, after which the unit will take a New Year’s break.

Earlier, reports of Deepika and SRK reuniting for a project titled Sanki did the rounds but nothing official is still heard from the makers. Sanki would mark Bollywood debut of Tamil bigwig filmmaker Atlee.
