Mumbai: Another kind gesture came from the end of Sonu Sood. The actor has donated 25,000 face shields to Maharashtra police personnel.
The Messiah of migrant workers has emerged as a real-life hero for many amid the coronavirus scare.
Lauding his effort towards Mumbai Police, Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh took to Twitter to share the news. He further thanked the Dabangg star for his kind gesture.
"I thank @SonuSood Ji for your generous contribution of giving 25,000 #FaceShields for our police personnel," he wrote on Twitter besides sharing a couple of pictures of him along with the actor.
Responding to the tweet made by the State Home Minister, he wrote: "Truly honoured by your kind words Sir! My police brothers & sisters are our real heroes & this is the least that I can do for the commendable work which they have been doing. Jai Hind #OurRealHeroes @DGPMaharashtra."
