Mumbai: Vexed with all the hate being spewed at husband Mahesh Bhatt following Sushant Singh Rajput's death, Soni Razdan stepped in to defend the director. She slammed a netizen who called Mahesh 'the flagbearer' of nepotism in the Hindi film industry.
"You're so ill-informed. My husband has given more breaks to newcomers than anyone else in this industry," she wrote.
She tweeted further, "There was a whole long period of time where he refused to work with stars. Then he was accused of not working with stars! Do ur homework and then talk please."

The netizen's tweet stated, "The real issue is nepotism...and your so called husband is flag bearer and so is god father of your daughter @karanjohar."
Sushant's demise on June 14 has triggered the age-old topic nepotism. Many prominent celebrities like Alia Bhatt, Sonam Kapoor, Sonakshi Sinha and more have been on the receiving end of the trolling amid the debate.
