Mumbai:Moments after Sushant Singh Rajput's family shared the screenshots of messages they sent to the Mumbai police, informing them that the late actor's life is in danger, the Kedarnath starrers' friend Siddharth Pithani has now released some fresh set of messages.

These messages were sent to Pithani's number as Sushant's family couldn't get in touch with the actor, and therefore had to contact Siddharth who was living with him at the time. Siddharth had then forwarded the messages to Sushant.

In the month of February this year, family members of Sushant, as it has come to light, were upset with the company he kept. The actor was not in touch with his family and they even tried contacting him but couldn't do so. When he didn't respond to calls and messages, Sushant's brother-in-law OP Singh messaged Siddharth Pithani who was staying with him in the Bandra flat.

The messages, handed over by Pithani to Mumbai police, reveal that the family was not happy with Sushant's habits, company he kept and several other issues.

The messages were sent in February 2020, the same month when OP Singh contacted Mumbai Police a few days later on February 25, citing that there could be a threat to Sushant's life.

  • Reached Chandigarh. Thanks for your fervent invitation to Mumbai. It connected me to scores of old friends.
  • Appreciating that you are not in charge of your life, career or house, I am happy that I guessed the situation correctly and planned my visit accordingly.
  • Please keep my wife away from your problems. It is because of company you keep, unhelpful habits and gross mismanagement. I am determined to ensure that my wife is not penalised only because she is good...
  • Appreciating that I am the only one who can help you, I am still available. In case of need, tell whoever is in charge of your upkeep and maintenance - your girlfriend, her family or your manager -to work out a mutually agreeable arrangement with my office.
  • The message is to let you know my thoughts on the subject. If you find it unnecessary, simply ignore, have a government to run, a department to manage and a family to look after. Awfully "1 short on time and energy.

These messages were received from Sushant's phone during the Mumbai police's investigation.
