Uttarakhand: Actor Shahid Kapoor will come here on September 30, for the shooting of his upcoming sports drama Jersey, which is the remake of a south film with the same title.
This is not the first time that the actor will be coming here. He has earlier visited the place for the shoot of his films like Batti Gul Meter Chalu and Kabir Singh.
As per reports, he will be staying here till October 10 to shoot variant scenes. Shooting will take place at different places including Dehradun, Mussoorie and other surrounding areas.

The film will show Shahid essaying the role of Arjun Raichand.
Jersey is about a talented but failed cricketer Arjun, who decides to make a comeback in his late thirties and play for India, in order to fulfil his son's wish.
The film will see Shahid collaborating with his father Pankaj Kapur once again while 'Super 30' actress Mrunal Thakur has been roped in to play the main female lead.
The film is helmed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, who directed the original south film which starred Nani in the lead role and is slated to release on August 28, 2020.
