Shah Rukh Khan completes 27 years in Bollywood

Shah Rukh Khan, who brought a new era of romance in Indian cinema has completed 27 years in the film industry. The actor made his Bollywood debut with 'Deewana'.

Mumbai: King Khan, who brought a new era of romance and changed the history of Hindi cinema with his remarkable contributions, on Tuesday completed 27 years in Hindi cinema.

The actor started his journey in the industry with his first film 'Deewana' in 1992, which became a huge hit at the box office and also won him the Filmfare Best Male Debut Award for his performance.

Shah Rukh started his journey by performing in theatres in Delhi where he grew up, before he moved to television with shows like 'Fauji' and 'Circus' and then eventually to the world of films.

On the occasion of his 27 years of success, the actor uploaded a video on his Twitter handle where he can be seen riding a bike on the famous 90s track 'Koi Na Koi Chaiye' from his first film. He later thanked his fans for their support and love.

The 53-year-old actor captioned the image, "Thank you for the awesome 27 years everybody and Thank you Sharad for the bikes!"

Over the span of his journey in the film industry, he got huge success and love for his work in films like 'Darr', 'Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge', 'Dil To Pagal Hai', 'Kal Ho Naa Ho', 'Chak De! India', 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai', 'Mohabbatein and many more which lit up the era of romance.

The actor was featured in projects like 'Zero' where he played a vertically challenged man.

Earlier in May, the actor appeared as the special guest on David Letterman's upcoming season of his Netflix talk show.
