Sanjay Dutt, Rajiv Kapoor in Ashutosh Gowariker's Toolsidas Junior

Filmmaker Ashutosh Gowariker's upcoming sports drama Toolsidas Junior will feature Sanjay Ditt, Rajiv Kapoor and Varun Buddhadev among others. Gowariker will be co-producing the film with Bhushan Kumar.

Mumbai: Bollywood filmmaker Ashutosh Gowariker, who is known for period spectacles, has apparently shifted gears. The filmmaker has announced his upcoming production venture, Toolsidas Junior, which is a sports drama.

The upcoming film will be headlined by Sanjay Dutt, Rajiv Kapoor and Varun Buddhadev. The sports drama will be a joint venture by Ashutosh Gowariker Productions and T-Series production. Written and directed by Mridul, the film is an inspiring human story with a sports backdrop.

While other details from the film are being kept under the wraps, the tagline on the poster that reads, "Bachcha hai, phaad dega!" and title of the film hint that the film is about a young snooker champion.
