Sandalwood drug racket: Sanjjanaa converted to Islam, rechristened Mahira

Arrested by the Bengaluru Police in connection with the Drug consumption and peddling case, Sandalwood actress Sanjjanaa Galrani had pleaded for bail.

Bengaluru:A new explosive information regarding Sandalwood actress Sanjjanaa Galrani accused in the Sandalwood drug scandal has surfaced that claims she has converted to Islam and rechristened herself 'Maahira'.

Arrested by the Bengaluru Police in connection with the Drug consumption and peddling case, Galrani had pleaded for bail.

Corroborating the information an affidavit of the Muslim Religious Center has also confirmed that Sanjjana has changed the name to Maahira after converting into Islam.

The affidavit also mentioned that Garlani converted in front of family members on August 1, 2018.

Sanjjanaa is married to Aziz Pasha, a doctor by profession.

Speculations are rife Sanjjanaa changed religion after her marriage.
