Salman's sister Arpita gets discharged from hospital

Salman Khan's sister Arpita Khan who gave birth to her second child has been discharged from the hospital. She opted for a C-section delivery to give Salman the best ever birthday gift.

Mumbai: Salman Khan's sister Arpita Khan who gave birth to her second child on December 27, has been discharged from the hospital.

Arpita was seen coming out of the hospital with husband Ayush Sharma who was holding the new-born baby Ayat and the elder kid Ahil Khan. Arpita and Ayush are also doting parents to their son, Ahil, who was born in 2016.

Ayush uploaded a video on hid Instagram handle which shows the preparations done to welcome the new baby. He captioned, "Welcome home @arpitakhansharma AHIL & AYAT Thank you @balloon.blushh .. it’s really special."

Meanwhile, Salman Khan has been on the seventh sky ever since the birth of Ayat and the actor thanked Arpita and Aayush for the “best birthday gift for the whole family” with a tweet. Captioned, “Welcome to this beautiful world Ayat. Thank u Arpita n Ayush for the best birthday gift for the whole family. May everyone who reads this bless her n may she grow up n make everyone proud. Thank u for all the love n respect. You all have been very kind, thank u thank u thank u!”

According to sources, Arpita and Ayush wanted the baby to be delivered on 27th itself to gift Salman a peerless gift. For this to happen, Arpita opted for a C-section delivery and welcomed the little bundle of joy.

On the work front, Aayush has commenced filming Kwatha, which is inspired by true life events and is set against an Army backdrop.

"It's great to start shooting for the film. I have tried my best to learn as much as I could, and make my character as relatable as possible. It's a great team to work with and I am looking forward to the whole experience," Ayush said earlier.

Aayush plays an Army Officer in the Karan Bhutani directorial. The film also marks the Bollywood debut of Katrina Kaif's sister Isabelle Kaif.
