Mumbai: Salman Khan and his Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai team were working rigorously to finish the film to meet Eid release. The film, however, has bleak chances to hit the screens on festival owing to the COVID-19 lockdown, reports suggest.
Last month, while film industries the world over was cancelling shooting schedules, release dates and other associated events owing to the global coronavirus pandemic, Salman did not seem to have problems going ahead with the shoot of Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai. Shooting of the film, co-starring Disha Patani, continued unabated in Mumbai and the makers insisted that they were strictly adhering to the safety norms of World Health Organisation (WHO). Back then, the makers were aiming to complete shooting by the end of March.
However, the shooting had to be stalled as in the wake of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, all filmmaking and producing bodies had unanimously decided to stop shooting for all kinds of entertainment formats temporarily between March 19 till March 31. In the meantime, the government on March 24 announced 21 days lockdown to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
While a chunk of the shoot has been completed in Mumbai and Goa, the schedule in Mumbai included some patchwork and a song being filmed on Salman and Disha.
