Mumbai: As the assembly polls in Maharashtra kick-started on Monday, Bollywood celebrities including Salman Khan, Javed Akhtar, Arjun Kapoor among other cast their votes as responsible citizens.
As a part of his civic rights, the Bharat actor went up to cast his vote at a polling booth in West Bandra, Mumbai. Sharing a picture of himself after casting his vote, he wrote alongside the photo: "Aaj boss buss vote karo... #VoteKarMaharashtra."
India's Most Wanted Actor Arjun Kapoor took to social media to post his inked finger selfie. Sharing the same on Twitter, he wrote alongside the photo: "Don't be a fool, be cool & get your finger marked...Each vote counts..."
Flaunting his inked finger, Abhishek Bachchan too shared a picture in a similar style. He tweeted: "Just do it!!! #GoVote #AssemblyElections2019."
Veteran actor Javed Akhtar along with wife Shaban Azmi also stepped out to participate in the biggest celebration of democracy. Interacting with the media, he said: "We have been levied with the responsibility of voting and trust me in entire Asia you see there are very few countries that are fortunate enough to vote."
