Salman, Disha cancel Radhe's shoot in Azerbaijan

Salman Khan and Disha Patani cancelled the shoot of Radhe in Baku, Azerbaijan following the dangerous spread of coronavirus. Apparently, some members of the team had already left for Baku to start preparing for the flick but were called back.

Mumbai: Actors Salman Khan and Disha Patani has cancelled the shoot of their upcoming film Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai in Azerbaijan. The cancellation was announced following the dangerous spread of coronavirus.

Apparently, the duo was to travel to Baku in Azerbaijan via Dubai. A unit source stated, "Considering the coronavirus outbreak, it’s scary to travel with a large number of unit hands abroad. It doesn’t make sense. Now, it will have to be shot elsewhere."

According to sources, some members of the team had already left for Baku to start preparing for the flick but were called back.

Radhe is going to be Salman's second collaboration with Disha after Bharat. Talking about her role in the upcoming flick, Disha once said PTI, "Salman sir just asked me if I would like to do the film. I said yes. There is a reason why I chose to do the film, besides the fact that it had Salman sir and it was directed by Prabhu Deeva sir. It has to do with the story and my character."

The film will also star Randeep Hooda, Jackie Shroff and actor Govind Namdev.

Randeep has recently dislocated his knee on the sets of the upcoming film. The actor is currently recuperating from the knee injury.

Randeep took to Instagram to inform his fans about his condition. Posting a selfie, he wrote: "A selfie after a good run..trying to rehabilitate my dislocated knee that got busted on the sets of #radhe #saturdayselfie #action #movie #fitnessmotivation #fitness #health #healthylifestyle."

Directed by Prabhu Deva, Radhe stars Salman Khan and Disha Patani. Salman's Eid release is scheduled to hit theatres on May 22, 2020. Weeks back, Randeep had also shared a video giving a glimpse of his workout session to get into shape for his character. Dressed in a red T-shirt and black shorts, the actor was seen doing a leg press with 640 pounds of weight at a gym.
