Saif's Jawaani Jaaneman to release in Saudi Arabia

Saif Ali Khan starrer Jawaani Jaaneman is all set to hit the silver screens of Saudi Arabia. The film has received a positive response from the audience and critics. Besides Saif, the movie also features actor Tabu and debutante Alaya F.

Mumbai: After wooing the Indian audience, Saif Ali Khan's latest film Jawaani Jaaneman is now all set to hit the big screen in Saudi Arabia. The rom-com is slated to release in the Middle Eastern country on Thursday.

"It is wonderful to see how Jawaani Jaaneman is being loved by all fronts. We are proud of the film and the fact that it is Saif's first solo entertainer making it to the Saudi market, makes this film all the more special. Hopefully, the film will be loved by the Saudi audience too," Jay Shewakramani, who co-produced the movie, said.

Jawaani Jaaneman, which is directed by Nitin Kakkar, has received a positive response from the audience and critics. Besides Saif, the movie also features actor Tabu and debutante Alaya F.

It is presented by Pooja Entertainment in association with Black Knight Films and Northern Lights Films.

The film grossed Rs 3.24 crore on the first day of release. The story is set in London, and it revolves around a young girl Tia who is in search of her father, and after the DNA test she discovers that Saif's character, an unmarried Casanova, is her father, while she herself is pregnant and the expected baby is from her ex-boyfriend.

According to the director Nitin Kakkar, he tried to explore the generation gap and how new-age relationships between parents and children are based on a lot of acceptance.

Prior to film's release Kakkar said: "Once I am done with the making of the film, I leave it to the audience. I am more interested to see how the audience gives life to the film, how they watch the story with their perspective. That is the job of a filmmaker."
