Saif's 'Hunter' to get new title, makers announce release date

Saif Ali Khan's upcoming film 'Hunter' will get a new title, announced the makers. The film which is bankrolled by Aanand L Rai will hit the big screens in September this year.

Mumbai: Saif Ali Khan's upcoming film backed by Aanand L Rai's Colour Yellow Productions is set for a September release.

According to a statement issued by the makers, the team will soon announce the title of the film. The project was earlier named 'Hunter'. As per reports, the film which is set in 1780, shows Saif as a failed sadhu (Hindu ascetic), who has strong notions of revenge.

Talking about his role in the film, Saif in one of his previous interviews had said that the film is most ambitious project of his career till date since it has been made on a grand scale.

When asked about film's plot, Saif had said, "It’s about a fight between two Brothers and my character, who’s almost like an animal, fights for his rights.”

He added, "My part in the film is that of a person who is an animal at heart a flat-footed wild fellow."

When Saif's look form the film surfaced online later last year, it took the internet by storm. In the leaked pictures, Saif was seen flaunting kohl rimmed-eyes, dreadlocks and unkempt beard.

The movie, directed by Navdeep Singh, also features 'Mukkabaaz' actor Zoya Hussain and Manav Vij.
