Rishi Kapoor is cancer-free, says filmmaker Rahul Rawail

Veteran Bollywood actor Rishi Kapoor left his fellow celebrities and fans in shock when he flew to the United States last year to seek medical treatment. He is often visited by his friends from the film fraternity and recently filmmaker Rahul Rawail paid a visit to the actor and announced that the actor is "CANCER FREE!!!!".

Mumbai: Filmmaker Rawail took to social media to share that Rishi, who has been undergoing treatment in New York for a very long time, is cancer-free.

Rahul, who has worked with Rishi in 'Kuch Khatti Kuch Meethi', took to Facebook to share a picture with the actor. He captioned the picture, "RISHI KAPOOR (CHINTU) is CANCER FREE!!!!"

Rishi flew to New York seven months back to undergo treatment of an undisclosed disease. Though the Kapoor khandan never revealed the disease Rishi is suffering from, Rahul's post states that the actor was suffering from cancer.

Late last year, Rahul took to Twitter to share that Rishi is under medical observation in USA and had asked media to stop speculations regarding Kapoor's health.

Rishi was last seen in Leena Yadav's 'Rajma Chawal' which was dropped on Netflix on November 30 last year.
