Rhea's post for Sushant Singh Rajput receives backlash on social media

Just a day after Rhea Chakraborty posted an emotional note for Sushant Singh Rajput, a section of netizens took to Instagram and slammed her for being 'fake'. They even hit back at her saying 'drama queen showing emotions, what a joke!'

Mumbai: Rhea Chakraborty's latest post dedicated to the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput has been receiving social media flak moments after she made the post public on Instagram.

In what seems like a farewell note for the departed soul, Rhea wrote that his absence has caused an "irreparable numbness" in her heart.

Sharing a couple of photos of them together, the Jalebi star penned that she would make a wish for Sushant so that he could find his way back to her.

"I will wait for you my shooting star and make a wish to bring you back to me," she wrote.

"30 Days Of Losing You But A Lifetime Of Loving You," concluded Rhea.

However, her post did not go down well with a major section of the netizens.

A user wrote: "After 30 days she realised that her BF is dead and misses him suddenly. But she wasn't aware of the fact that was with a man who somehow predicted that Sushant would die. I am talking about Mahesh Bhatt. Strange isn't it? Any punishment to these murderers will not suffice what happened to Sushant. Nothing!"

Another commented: "Yes after his demise now she loves him but when he was alive she forced him to delete the post of their love and she also deleted pics with him!! Now she is showing love for him!!"

A third user wrote: "How come a person who has died due to unatural death will be at peace.....when he sees his murderers alive..."

Many slammed her for shedding crocodile tears and even labelled her post as "fake."

"Oh she is drama queen guys now she is showing emotions which she has for Sushant what a joke," wrote another.

Rhea's post, on Tuesday, comes exactly a month after the death of Sushant Singh Rajput.

It's been a month that the Kai Po Che actor breathed his last on June 14. He was found hanging in his room at his Bandra residence in Mumbai. His death has left the entire nation in a state of shock.
