Rashmika Mandanna feels 'bad' as fan travels over 900 km to see her

Rashmika Mandanna's die-hard fan from Telangana reached her native in Karnataka to catch a glimpse of her. When the actor, who was in Mumbai for work commitments came to know about the incident took to social media to mildly warn the fan who "travelled super far" to meet her, requesting him/her not to do this and instead connect with her on social media.

Bengaluru: Multi-lingual film actor Rashmika Mandanna on Sunday said she feels sorry for her star-struck fan who had travelled from Telangana to her native place in Kodagu district of Karnataka to meet her.

"Guys, it just came to my notice that one of you had travelled so far to see me. Please don't do anything like that. I feel bad that I didn't get to meet you. I really, really hope to meet you one day, but for now show me love here. I'll be happy!" she tweeted.

The actor was busy shooting in Mumbai when Akash Tripathi travelled to Kodagu a few days ago using Google but landed somewhere else instead of at her house. All along the way, he kept asking people for directions to the actor's residence. People grew suspicious and informed the police.

Soon, the police stopped Tripathi and told him to go back to Telangana as Kodagu was under lockdown. The fan also got to know that he cannot see the actor as she was away in Mumbai for a film-shoot.

After working in the Tamil, Telugu and Kannada film industry, Rashmika is all set to make her Bollywood debut with the upcoming spy thriller film Mission Majnu. In the Shantanu Bagchi directorial, the actor will be seen alongside Sidharth Malhotra. Rashmika also has Goodbye with Amitabh Bachchan and the Telugu film Pushpa co-starring Allu Arjun in her kitty.
