Mumbai: Actor Ranveer Singh and director Rohit Shetty are reportedly in talks to join hands for an upcoming comedy flick. With the film, Rohit is apparently aiming to offer something massive than the Golmaal franchise.
Rohit and Ranveer love and admire each other as professionals is known. In past, both have admitted that they wanted to work together for so long and Simmba in 2018 marked their first collaboration for a feature film which expanded Shetty's cop universe. In his upcoming Sooryavanshi, Rohit roped in Ranveer for an extended cameo. And now, reports suggest that the two are coming together for a comedy flick.
According to a webloid report, Rohit, as a director is aiming to step out of the Golmaal franchise and his cop universe. The filmmaker apparently utilized the lockdown period to pen a comic script. Ranveer has reportedly given nod to the idea after hearing the storyline.
