Mumbai: Ranveer Singh and Yash Raj Films have once again united for an upcoming project 'Jayeshbhai Jordaar'. The 33-year-old actor took to his social media to unveil the news about his new film.
The movie will mark the directorial debut of Divyang Thakkar, who happens to be the writer of the film's script. Produced by Maneesh Sharma under the big banner of Yash Raj Films, the film is headlined by Ranveer Singh.
The actor also posted a short video on his Instagram handle featuring the writer-director Divyang Thakkar.
Praising the new director, he wrote: "Where in the world did this kid come from?!?!? #DivyangThakkar is straight up JORDAAR !!! ️? @yrf #JayeshbhaiJordaar."
The motion picture is reportedly a purely entertaining drama. The 'Padmavaat' star who is set to play the lead role, will portray the character of a Gujarati man in the film.
The actor is all pumped up about the 'miracle script' in his forthcoming projects. The film seemed to have added zest to his performing career.
An elated Ranveer tweeted: "Its a ‘miracle script’!!! Thrilled to announce my next film - ‘JAYESHBHAI JORDAAR’ @yrf #JayeshbhaiJordaar."
Ranveer who debuted with 'Band Baaja Baaraat', has earlier worked under the directorship of the Maneesh Sharma in the same film.
The 'Gully Boy' star is high in terms of work front as he is currently busy working on Kabir Khan's '83' which is slated for a 2020 release.
