Hyderabad: Bollywood star Kangana Ranaut's sister Rangoli Chandel has launched an unprovoked attack on actor Taapsee Pannu on social media. Rangoli, who is also Kangana's manager, has given her verdict on Taapsee's latest release Haseen Dillruba. Dissing Taapsee for her 'athletic' and 'strong' look, Rangoli has also urged filmmakers to not ruin films with 'wrong casting.'
On Saturday night, Rangoli took to her Instagram Stories to take a dig at Taapsee over her latest outing Haseen Dillruba. In the film directed by Vinil Mathew and written by Kanika Dhillon, Taapsee plays a woman whose heart longs to live like the words captured in a novel, but who finds herself entangled in the murder of her husband. Not happy with Taapsee's casting in the film as lead actor Rani, Rangoli has not only criticised the actor but has also said that the makers should have roped in Aditi Rao Hydari for the part.
Sharing a photo of Aditi, Rnagoli wrote, "I really don't get why beautiful talented actresses like Aditi don't get films like Haseena Dilruba, she would have been perfect in a role of a modern yet vulnerable housewife who is desperate for love, who is beautiful yet complex, feminine yet fragile... why Tapasee uncle?? she looked too athletic and strong for that role ... why this Kangana hangover yaar... please there can be only one Kangana and can't be a sasti Kangana for sure, please look at other talents, also, don't ruin films with wrong casting yaar."
