Mumbai: After the massive success of his Hindi directorial debut Kabir Singh, filmmaker Sandeep Vanga Reddy is set to roll on with his next in Bollywood for which he has Ranbir Kapoor in mind.
According to a leading newswire, Sandeep has forwarded the idea for his next film to producer Bhushan Kumar. Both have zeroed in Ranbir Kapoor to play the leading role as he fits well into the script.
If sources are to be believed, Sandeep narrated the story to Bhushan who liked it and agreed to produce the film. For the leading role, Ranbir has been approached who has liked the concept.

However, the final nod is yet to be given by the actor due over the meeting this week. Also, even if Ranbir agreed to the role, he won't be able to begin work on it immediately as he has a string of projects lined up for him.
Currently, Ranbir has to wrap two films including fantasy-trilogy Brahmastra and period drama Shamshera after which he is committed to Luv Ranjan's next starring Ajay Devgn and Deepika Padukone to be produced by Luv and Bhushan. Hence, fans might have to wait a little more to see Sandeep and Ranbir's collaboration.
Despite severe criticism, Kabir Singh was well received at the box office crossing Rs 250 crores and finding a place among the top-grossing films of 2019.
