Mumbai: Lovebirds Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt were papped at Mumbai airport as they left for a secret location to ring in the New Year together.
Clad in a casual tee and pants, Ranbir looked cute in the black-framed glasses. Alia pepped a white tee with a denim jacket and pants.
The duo celebrated the Christmas eve with their family members in Mumbai.
On the work front, the actors will be seen working together in Ayan Mukherji's Brahmastra, which also stars Amitabh Bachchan. The film will be releasing in 2020.
Besides Brahmastra, Alia will also be seen featuring in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Gangubai Kathiawadi.

Bhansali commenced the film's shooting on Friday. Bhansali Productions' announced the beginning of the film via social media. "Good things are on its way and you'll see in the new year✨#GangubaiKathiawadi In Cinemas 11th Sept 2020! @aliaabhatt #SanjayLeelaBhansali @prerna_singh6 @jayantilalgadaofficial @penmovies," reads the caption alongside the image.
This project will see Bhansali Productions collaborating with Jayantilal Gada's Pen India Ltd for this film. The film is based on Hussain Zaidi's book Mafia Queens of Mumbai. The story of the movie revolves around Gangubai Kothewali, a brothel owner and matriarch.
Alia too expressed her excitement over beginning the new journey with ace filmmaker. "Look what Santa gave me this year. 📽❤️"
