Hyderabad: Actor Rana Daggubati opens up on what pulled him back from the dark phase of his life. The actor also revealed how dubbing for Thanos in the Telugu version of Avengers: Infinity War unexpectedly served him well during the health scar.

Rana in a recent podcast interview was asked if he sensed a feeling of darkness around him, to which he replied, "Yeah definitely. There will be times when you are super successful in films but then your health has taken a toss and you don't know if you can put yourself back to doing another film. Now that's a dark place to be in. But how does that change is if you move out of it and find what your purpose is actually."

The Ghazi actor further said that his passion for telling stories pull him out of the tough times. "I think each of us takes a piece from what we love." The actor also shared an inspiring anecdote about the time he was diagnosed with health issues and how dubbing for Thanos character for the Telugu version of Avengers acted as a catharsis in putting himself together through the health scar.
